She wrote a best-selling book that inspired the world and she knows that for sure.It is good to see that there are people who still have that kind of vision in the world today - thanks to her.

For a consummate narcissist, she gives a halfway decent talk!

As a writer, I can totally relate. The age-old question: where does this come from? I've written poems that were published exactly as they went onto the page, feeling as if I had plagiarized. Other times I've written and re-written, struggling to go from thought to page without losing anything; knowing when it was over it was all mine with a little help from an elusive friend or two.
Elizabeth Gilbert is indeed inspiring and despite being seventy, I'll be writing more because of hearing this talk. I'll also have less agony than I usually do during the process. Thanks.

It's an amazing feeling when another human being miles away speaks your life as if they've been following you every step of the way; it helps to know that somewhere out there someone just like me is experiencing the doubts, long dark nights, glimpses of insanity and indomitable anticipation that good will come out of all this.
I am just beginning my writing career at 60. Thank you for allowing me to sip from your cup of courage Elizabeth Gilbert....I am less afraid.
