Bring Back the 4th™ Returns

Win a $10,000 grant to help your town celebrate this Fourth of July.

Last year, Liberty Mutual debuted its Bring Back the 4th™ program, a contest designed to help offset the recession’s effect on those towns and cities forced to cut traditional Independence Day celebrations from their budgets.

Through this initiative, 10 cities and towns throughout the country were each awarded a $10,000 grant to use toward local traditions such as fireworks, parades or ceremonies honoring our veterans. The initial response was overwhelming, with more than 48,000 people representing over 3,200 cities and towns participating for their chance to “Bring Back the 4th” in their community.

This year, Liberty Mutual is pleased to announce the second annual Bring Back the 4th™ contest. And just like last year, the rules are simple: To enter, visit www.BringBackThe4th.com between now and June 14, take the brief quiz about Responsible Moments in U.S. History, and earn a point for your town. You can even download banners, badges and posts from our Town Toolkit this year and become a social media ambassador for your community. The goal is for families, friends, schools and businesses to once again all work together to put the sizzle back in their holiday.
